Russian TV channels protest piracy by Azerbaijan

"The crude violation of copyright and related rights to the broadcasting of Russian TV channels prompted a joint message of the leadership of Channel 1, the All-Russian State TV and Radio Broadcasting Company, and NTV broadcasting company to the Azerbaijani B&BTV Communications," says a press release circulated by Channel 1 Wednesday evening.

Addressing the Azerbaijani side the channels demanded talks on signing due license agreements for the transmission of international versions of the channels with legal successors.
