Qarabag FC has proposed the creation of Football Clubs Alliance for Climate Initiative during the 29th session of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) taking place in Baku.
This initiative has received support from COP29 Presidency and the United Nations Department of Sport and Climate Change (UNFCCC).
The event will take place at Nasimi Hall of the Blue Zone on November 16 at 14:00.
Renown and experienced football clubs of the world, in particular, Europe, in the field of climate change and sustainability accepted the invitation of Qarabag FC and confirmed their participation in this important meeting.
The event will feature extensive discussions on the impact of sports in the fight against climate change, and partner clubs in the alliance will share their experiences.
