Bulgarian chess player will play for Azeri club

Bulgarian chess player Veselin Topalov will play in SOCAR Azerbaijan, azerisport.com reports. The chess club was able to negotiate with the Bulgarian player and American grandmaster Gata Kamsky.

Thus, today six of the eight team members are officially known: Teymur Rajabov, Shahriyar Mammadyarov, Alexander Grischuk, Veselin Topalov, Gata Kamsky and Emil Sutovsky. The names of two more will be known later, and they will represent Azerbaijan. Head coach of the club is well-known Ukrainian specialist Vladimir Tukmakov.
