FIFA expert observes Baku's stadiums

British expert of FIFA on natural and artificial pitches Ian Lacy has visited several stadiums in Baku.
His inspection is part of preparations for the U-17 Women`s World Cup in Baku. Lacy also met with AFFA Secretary General Elkhan Mammadov.

He visited the stadium at Baku`s 8th Kilometre district, where he met the company laying the natural turf in the stadium and discussed plans for irrigation and drainage.

The British expert also visited the AFFA football centre, the Olympic sport complex in Shagan, the Tofig Ismayilov Stadium in Surakhani, the Ismat Gaibov Stadium in Bakikhanov, Baki FC`s training ground, the training centre for the Olympic national teams, the Shafa Stadium and the pitch at the Azerbaijan State Academy of Physical Training and Sport.
