Azerbaijani gymnast wins two medals in World Cup in Portugal

Individual finals in personal and group competitions took place on the final day of the tournament. Aliya Garaeva participated in three of four finals and won two medals.

The Azerbaijani gymnast took second place in competitions with a score of 27.9, behind only  Olympic champion from Russia Evgeniya Kanaeva (28.075).

Aliya won third place in the finals with a rope receiving even more scores from the judges – 28.1.

In a performance with a hoop, Alia took fourth place with a score of 27.675.
