Kutsev first to represent Azerbaijan in canoe slalom

Radoslav Kutsev will represent Azerbaijan in not only canoe sprint but also canoe slalom at the Youth Olympic Games in Singapore. Although canoe slalom is an Olympic sport, it is new for Azerbaijan because only kayak, canoe and boat racing are being developed in the country.

Kutsev will be the only representative of Azerbaijan to compete for medals in two disciplines. Kutsev will start with 420m canoe sprint event. The canoe slalom event will take place on August 24-25.
