Araz Abdullayev will join the Everton Club in the second half of February, David Harrison, head of the Everton Department of International Relations, told Trend.
Abdullayev will be specially trained for the remaining period.
"Araz Abdullayev will be a football player of the Everton Club from Jan. 1, but given the injury of a halfback of Neftchi Flavinyo, we agreed on a football player's transferring in a certain time," Vice-President of Neftchi Tahir Suleymanov said at a news conference.
"Araz Abdullayev is a young football player. He must reach the required level to play in the main staff of Everton," John Mertok, the head of department of the British club, said at a press conference.
"England's Championship is one of the most prestigious in the world. I will try to play with dignity," half-back Araz Abdullayev said. "At present, I attend the preparatory English courses not to have problems with communication in England," he further said.
Neftchi Vice-President Suleymanov said that according to the agreement with a British club, two or three other football players of Neftchi will be tested in Everton.
