Just imagine what successes you could have achieved, if not for laziness.
What is laziness? It is a lack of vitality to carry out your work .Some of you may even be too lazy to read this article.
It usually starts with postponing reading a book at nights, meeting your friends or preparing something delicious on weekends. But, when you realize all this, it could be a little bit late.
Thus, laziness gradually turns into your habit changing your brain program.
Many people have a persistent belief that those who do not work and deviate from it in every possible way must be re-educated.
However, sometimes lack of vital energy to move forward lays in the protective properties of our organism. Sometimes, it simply refuses to work for the sake of its salvation.
Laziness is not only a kind of physical fatigue but also emotional. Sometimes, you even cannot smile at yourself on the mirror because of lack of life energy.
If a person works overtime, his or her organism will completely be exhausted. This in turn will bring negative consequences. So, to avoid this, our body gives us some signals like "it is time to stop" in the form of laziness.
On the other hand, laziness is a very poor quality, when you give in and feeling of incompleteness, boredom and sleepiness won't leave you.
Undoubtedly, in such circumstance, you need to have rest. But it should not be tightened; otherwise idleness can drain more and more. You should recognize the real need to rest otherwise you could come under the power of laziness.
Do not forget that laziness affects not only your work, but also your private life and relationships with your friends.
The first main point which you should always remember is to stop postponing plans for "later". Over the years, the same proverb "never put off till tomorrow what can be done today" has been a reality but many people don't take it serious.
But if you do everything on time, the duties and unpleasant cases would reduce significantly. Make it a rule not to postpone anything without valid excuse. The hardest thing is to start, and then you get used it.
A list of weekly goals will help you stay focused and motivated. As the feeling of checking those items off your list and moving on to the next task may give you a sense of accomplishment.
Another effective method to stop being lazy is doing nothing. I'm serious. Stand in the center of the room and do nothing, absolutely nothing, don't drink, don't read, don't lie or don't listen to music. In less than fifteen minutes you will take up the matter.
If you have already tried all these or other ways and couldn't overcome that idler man in yourself, maybe one way you may still help to wake up.
Sometimes unwillingness may occur if you do not have a strong sense of urgency, thinking that you might as well do it tomorrow instead today.
I want to share with you an exercise, which may help you get out of laziness. Once my friend suggest me to try this exercise when I thought that nothing could help me to overcome this emotional hurdle.
For example, if you have some work to do and do not even have a desire to engage in them, just imagine that the only time to deal with them is now, to be free from everything for the next 12 months after that. Otherwise, you should spend more than 2 years to complete your work.
Just do not forget that the very effective medicine to kill the naughty Dontwanter within you is yourself, your desire and will power.
