Local banks purchase over $113M from CBA

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan sold $113.260 million to seven domestic banks through an auction, the Bank reported on January 28.

"The CBA put up for sale $200 million, but the total requirements of banks amounted to $113.260 million,” the statement said. “The requirements were fully met."

The Bank sold $67.161 million to 18 domestic banks through an auction on January 28. The CBA put up for sale $200 million, but the total requirements of banks amounted to $67.161 million.

The CBA holds auctions three times a week - on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
