Azerbaijani banks buy over $32M from central bank Feb. 15

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) sold over $32 million to 10 domestic banks through the auction Feb. 15, the CBA said Feb. 15.

“CBA put up for sale $200 million, but the total demand of banks for foreign currency amounted to only $32.1 million and it was fully met,” the statement said.”

CBA holds auctions three times a week - on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
