Management of Azerbaijani bank changes

Lachin Aliyev has left the post of deputy chairman of the Azerbaijani NBCBank, according to the information on the bank's website.

Aliyev held this position since October 2013.

At present, the bank’s management board includes acting chairman of the board of directors Elchin Mammadov, his deputy Said Gasimov and member of the board Ophelia Gamidova.

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) revoked the license of NBC Bank Jan. 26, but later the bank’s license was reinstated in connection with the plans to consolidate it with other banks operating in the country.

It was earlier reported that NBCBank, which has been operating on the market since 1992, had intention to merge its assets with Parabank and KredoBank.
