SOCAR expands filling stations’ network in Romania

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has increased the number of its gas filling stations in Romania to 33, said the message from the company.

SOCAR commissioned another gas filling station under its brand name on Bucharest-Constanta highway March 16, according to the message.

Currently, the company’s gas filling stations operate in 16 regions of Romania.

SOCAR is the sole producer of oil products in Azerbaijan. It has filling stations in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Ukraine, Romania and Switzerland.

The company exported 1.23 million tons of oil products in 2015, compared to 1.2 million tons in 2014.
