Weekly review of Azerbaijani currency market

The official exchange rate of Azerbaijani manat to the US dollar set by Azerbaijan’s Central Bank (CBA) decreased by 0.0097 manats (0.6061 percent) last week. Accordingly, the average rate was set at 1.60428 manats to $1.

During the week, the official exchange rate of manat to euro set by the CBA decreased by 0.0162 manats (0.9114 percent). Accordingly, the average rate was set at 1.78544 manats to 1 euro.

The official exchange rate of Azerbaijani manat to the Russian ruble set by Azerbaijani Central Bank increased by 0.0006 manats (2.459 percent). Accordingly, the average rate was set at 0.02474 manats to 1 Russian ruble.

During the week, the official exchange rate of manat to Turkish lira set by the CBA decreased by 0.0082 manats (1.531 percent). Accordingly, the average rate was set at 0.54 manats to 1 Turkish lira.

This week, the price of one ounce of gold increased by 36.5108 manats (1.7019 percent). Accordingly, the average price for gold reached 2156,46386 manats.

The trading at Baku Interbank Currency Exchange (BBVB) has not been carried out since early 2015, so the exchange rate of manats is not formed.
