New appointment at Bank of Baku

Eldar Hamidov, deputy chairman of the Management Board at Bank of Baku OJSC, has been appointed to temporarily serve as acting chairman of the Management Board, according to the bank’s website.

On this position he succeeds Nahid Zeynalov, who will join the Board of the Kapital Bank OJSC, according to a source in Azerbaijan’s financial market.

Bank of Baku was established in 2005 following the merger of two private banks – Bank of Baku OJSC and IlkBank.
