3.3 trillion manats (672.1 million dollars) were invested to the country economy in the first two months of the year, that is 5.2% more in comparison with January-February in 2004.

According to the information given to APA from State Statistics Committee, 93.55 of the investments were directed to the construction of production objects, the rest to the construction of non-production objects.
Totally 78.1% of the investments to the country economy are external, 21.9% are internal investments. Private sector shares 93.3% of the investments, and state sector shares 6.7%.It must be mentioned that, 24.2 trillion manats (4.9 billion dollars) were invested to the country economy in 2004.73.7% of them were external, 26.3% were internal investments.
