Leasing portfolio in Azerbaijan equals $24,5 millions

This information was spread on October 20 in the press release of the Project of Leasing Development in Azerbaijan, implemented by International Finance Corporation (IFC – a group of World Bank)

Total number of leasing projects is equal to 286. Right now in Azerbaijan leasing services are provided by Ata Lizinq, Azerilizinq, AG Lizinq, SLS Azerlizinq, Debut Bank, Gunaylizinq, Parex Lizinq ? Uni Lizinq. Companies: Mugan Lizinq,AZ Lizinq, Bank Respublika, Bank of Baku, Cred Agro, Amrah Bank and state owned Agro Lizinq are new companies that just started leasing operations.

The biggest share in the leasing portfolio belongs to construction projects – 33,6 percents, 21,9 percents – transportation, 13,8 percents – finances and insurance, 6,1 percents – food industry, 5,8 percents – healthcare, 5,5 percents – production, 2,2 percents- civil construction, 0,1 percent – agriculture, 11 percents everything else.
