Bank of Baku began banking operations with "American Express" checks

The Bank of Baku Commercial Bank (CB) has started implementation of all banking operations (purchase, sale, collection of payments) by means of "American Express" checks from today.

As APA informs, advantages of "AmEx" checks widely used throughout the world are accepted as an instrument of payment in hundred thousands of trade, public catering and service establishments in various countries.

It should be noted that commission of "Bank of Baku" CB forms 0.5% of total amount of a check during sale and 2% during purchase of the check.
