SOCAR Production Unit extracted 3 909 327 tonnes of oil in the first half of the year

APA reports that SOCAR PU director general Shahin Ismayilov said that 3 909 327 tonnes of oil were produced during this period and that is to say the forecast was implemented by 102%.

During this period 2 439 213 000 cubic meters of gas were produced and the anticipation was implemented by 111.9%.

The same volume of oil and gas were delivered to the State.

Great importance should be attached to ecological problems, acceleration of drilling, provision of drilling units with necessary equipment and improvement of gas and oil transportation systems.

The deliberation was also attended by SOCAR vice-president for development of geological, geophysical fields, Khoshbakht Yusifzade and his deputy for oil and gas production Rahman Gurbanov.
