Gas import from Russia to be suspended

Complex preventive repair of the Mozdak-Kazimagomed, Makat-Severniy Kavkaz and Kumri-Aksay main gas pipelines will be commenced, Daghgaz OJSC told APA bureau in Dagestan.

Supply of Khasavyurd, Kizilyurd and other residential zones with natural gas will be suspended from August 22 through 24.

After that, gas supply for southern Dagestan and Azerbaijan will be suspended.

Russian Gasexport's office in Baku told APA that it is not ruled out that during regular and preventive repair in gas pipelines the gas importation to Azerbaijan will temporarily be stopped.
