The Islamic Republic of Iran in the past month exported its electricity to the former Soviet republic through the electricity grid of Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic.
During the period, the autonomous republic respectively received 44.3 mln kilowatts and 16.06 mln kilowatts of electricity from Iran and Turkey, the Persian service of ISNA quoted a statement released by the company as saying on Sunday.
On average between 1,100,000 and 200,000 kilowatts per day from Iran and 500,000 and 600,000 kilowatts per day from Turkey is currently being transferred to the republic, Iran News reports.
