Ways to raise the effectiveness of the activities of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization (BSEC) will be discussed at the 28th plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the BSECO, opening in Baku on Wednesday, with parliamentary delegations from 11 countries of the region participating.

A search for alternative source of energy and possibilities for their application in Black Sea countries will be among main subjects of discussion at the two-day session, an official in Azerbaijan’s Milli Mejlis (parliament) has told Itar-Tass.

As a result of the session, PABSEC presidency will pass on from Azerbaijan to Bulgaria for next six months. The BSECO was founded in 1993. It comprises 12 countries. Only Armenian delegation is absent from the present session.
