Agriculture Minister meets Cuban official

Ismat Abbasov said there is a huge potential for agricultural cooperation between Azerbaijan and Cuba.

He stressed the bilateral cooperation agreement signed between the two countries during Azeri Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov's visit to Cuba.

Abbasov informed the guest about the agricultural reforms conducted in Azerbaijan as well as development of the non-oil sector, and socio-economic development of his country's regions.

Ricardo Gerrero spoke of economy of Cuba including the agricultural and oil sectors.

The Cuban guest stressed the importance of signing the cooperation agreement between the two countries' ministries of agriculture, press service of the Ministry said. AzerTAg
