AIOC increases oil exports by 89%

Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC) increased oil exports by 88.6%, year-over-year, to 16 634 000 metric tons during the period of January-October.

The consortium exported 5 615 000 tonnes of oil through Baku-Supsa pipeline, 2 589 000 tonnes of oil via Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline and 4 790 000 tonnes of oil via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline.

In total, 13 314 000 metric tons of oil were exported from Azerbaijan in 2005, which is a 49% rise on the previous year, APA informs.
