Azerdemiryolbank to issue chip cards

Azerdemiryolbank JSB will issue chip cards from January 1, 2007.

Azerdemiryolbank is one of the first banks to issue plastic cards in Azerbaijan, the Bank told APA.

In 2003 the Bank became a principal member of Visa International, the world's leading credit card. Since November, 2006 Azerdemiryolbank started to issue Euro Cards for the first time in Azerbaijan.
