Tokens to be withdrawn from turnover in Baku subway

On December 1 Baku Metro began to limit selling of tokens in the stations where the number of passengers are more.

The treasury of some stations explained this fact as lack of counters. The people willing to buy counters were advised to buy plastic cards. The chief of Baku Metro Tagi Ahmadov told the journalists that this problem will continue till the end of December.

"Some part of tokens was withdrawn from turnover because of transition to plastic card system. We informed the public about it beforehand," he said, APA reports.
