SOCAR president: "No problem with gas supply this year"

Azerbaijani people will face no problem in gas supply during the winter, SOCAR president Rovneg Abdullayev told reporters.

He said that Russian importing gas is used to provide electric stations.

"Russia wants to charge Azerbaijan $235 per 1, 000 cu m of gas, compared to $110 we pay now.We have paid so far. Russia demands now. The negotiations are ongoing," he said.

Rovneg Abdullayev noted that supply of some part of Turkish quota of Shah Deniz gas to Georgia is being discussed, APA reports.
