State Program for Tourism to be approved by spring

The Ministry of Culture and tourism has introduced 2007-2016 State Program for development of tourism in Azerbaijan to relevant government bodies.

Minister Abulfaz Garayev said that the program is expected to be approved of by the spring.

He insisted that the level of tourism will reach European standards within 10 years.

He said that three giant tourism projects are under construction now. "They are a shore tourism zone in Lenkeran, winter-spring tourist center in Gusar, and a tourism zone consisting of 10 huge complexes in Khizi-Gusar-Devechi region," he said, APA reported.
