Charges for communication services not to rise

"Hike of charges for energy supplies will not influence the prices of communication services," Communication and Information Technologies Minister Ali Abbasov told the journalists.

He noted that, electric consumption for communication services costs AZN 1,5m and it can not influence the charges for communication services.

Touching on the assessment of intercity phone talks, the minister said that they think over this issue, but the fares are not expected to rise soon.

The minister noted that some new stations would be installed to increase the broadcasting qualities of foreign TV channels, APA reports.
