Azerbaijan develops state program for standardization, metrology, certification, accreditation and patents

State Agency for Standardization, Metrology and Patents has worked out a draft program for standardization, metrology, certification, accreditation and patents.

Agency's Director, Ramiz Hasanov, told the APA that the five-year program based on judgments by different government bodies has been submitted to the Government.

Government is expected to approve the program in the nearest future.

Hasanov added that the Agency is also developing a technical regulation bill to accelerate the country's accession to the WTO. The bill has been introduced to the WTO Office.
