ALFA Insurance to provide aviation insurance

Azerbaijan's ALFA Insurance intends to launch aviation insurance services this year.

The Company Deputy Director, Vusal Abbasov, told the APA that this type of insurance service is intended to insure aircrafts and helicopters.

Abbasov noted the Company has further activated mortgage loan insurance services after acquired by Technikabank.

ALFA Insurance, acquired by Technikabank, has operated since 1997 (Murad Insurance). Its nominal, to January 1, was AZN 1.5mln. The Company is providing 25 voluntary and 4 compulsory insurance services.
