Kazakhstan interested in Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas pipeline

Foreign Minster Elmar Mammadyarov met with Kazakhstan's President Nursultan Nazarbayev in Astana.

The parties discussed oil and gas issues during the meeting. As it is known the main dimension of the cooperation between the two countries is transport of Kazakh oil to international markets via TransCaspian route.

Elmar Mammadyarov said the briefing that Kazakhstan is interested in Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas pipeline.

"There are several ways of transporting gas to international markets. Experts should work on it seriously. There are questions connected with determining tariffs, customs and technical parameters," he said.

Elmar Mammadyarov says, negotiations continue in this sphere.
