Azerbaijan acquired over 7,000 ISO standards

The Agency Director Ramiz Hasanov said the standards make production more competitive and opens a door to Europe.  ISO intends to render some technical assistance to Azerbaijan in the nearest future.

Azerbaijan has become a full member of ISO since 2003. ISO promotes the development of standardization and related activities in the world with a view to facilitating the international exchange of goods and services and to developing cooperation in the spheres of intellectual, scientific, technological and economic activity.
