Int'l 'From waste to Art' exhibition due in Baku

Baku will host the second international exhibition “From Waste to Art” on June 16-20.

The event will be held with the support and initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

The exhibition will bring together artists from 16 countries.

The aim of the project is to organize waste sorting, collection, transportation and utilization in compliance with up-to-date standards in Gala settlement.

Waste is unavoidable part of human life – and it will always be so. For this reason in order to increase attention for environmental protection and to agitate responsible approach to our planet`s environmental health, the artists used trash art as means to direct public attention to environmental problems caused by the impact of waste.
