Charity Easter bazaar opens in Baku

 A Charity Easter Bazaar has today opened at the Russian Information and Cultural Centre organized by the Russian Embassy in Azerbaijan and the Baku-Azerbaijan Eparchy of Russian Orthodox Church.

The event brought together MPs, representatives of foreign countries` diplomatic missions in Azerbaijan, culture and public figures.

The Easter bazaar aims to collect means to orphan children. It offers original costume jewellery, colourful Azerbaijan scarves, products of the Azerbaijan masters of painting and woodcarving, natural church honey and, certainly, Easter cakes.

Speakers at the event included Head of Rossotrudnichestvo in Azerbaijan Valentin Denisov, Belarus Ambassador to Azerbaijan Nikolai Patskevich and Senior Adviser in the Russian Embassy Alexander Gladkov.

The visitors also have a chance to try delicious food and sweets, and children were able to have lots of fun in a special corner designed for them with face painting and many games.
