Baroque music to sound in Baku

Baku will host "Baroque music evening" on March 27, Day.Az reported.

The unusual concert program will take place at the organ and chamber musical hall of Azerbaijan State Philharmonic Hall.

The ensemble D'ACCORDO led by Ilahi Sadi-zadeh will take part in the gala evening.  D'ACCORDO consists of violinists Elina Aliyeva and Lala Miralieva, viola player Ziba Rajabli, cellists Asim Khalilov and Eyyub Aliyev flute player Nargiz Aliyeva  and guitarist Rovshan Mammadov.

The soloists  will be  honored artists Farida Mammadova (soprano) and Ilham Nazarov (countertenor).

Musicians will perform works by A. Vivaldi, G. Handel, L. Boccherini, C. Monteverdi, and others.
