The International Mugham Center has hosted a concert organized by the International Musical Education Center.
Timed to the centenary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, the concert brought together teachers and students of the music center, Azernews reports.
During the musical night, the audience were presented with a multi-genre program, which included classical works, as well as jazz, ethno, hip-hop, rock.
The concert featured works by great Azerbaijani and world classics, including Uzeyir Hajibayli, Gara Garayev, Tofig Guliyev, Bach, Beethoven, Paganini, Rachmaninov, Berkovich and Grieg.
The young composer Nigar Kangarli presented her music piece Crescere to the public for the first time.
The Flames Band performed the hits of the legendary band Queen and Bon Jovi. The concert program also included songs by Azerbaijani band Yuxu.
At the end of the concert, the band thrilled the audience with the song "Ey, Az?rbaycan?m!" (music - Mikail Vakilov, lyrics - Malik Farrukh) in a new arrangement.
