Unique artefacts related to Uzun Hasan transported to Heydar Aliyev Center [VIDEO]

Heydar Aliyev Center continues preparations for the exhibition "Uzun Hasan - the ruler of the Aggoyunlu State".

Unique artefacts related to Uzun Hasan have been transported to the Heydar Aliyev Center, Azernews reports.

The exhibition will open its doors to history enthusiasts on November 1.

Visitors will have the opportunity to get acquainted with many rare exhibits, including those stored in the Istanbul Military Museum (Harbiye Military Museum and Cultural Site Command), which have not yet been showcased outside Turkiye. These exhibits will be shown in Azerbaijan for the first time.

The exhibition provides insight into the history of the Aggoyunlu State, founded by the outstanding statesman and commander Uzun Hasan, and about its role in the history of Azerbaijani statehood.

Carpets with miniatures belonging to the period of Aggoyunlu State, as well as porcelain figurines reflecting the image of Uzun Hasan, are being prepared for this exhibition.

Moreover, visitors will be able to purchase all these souvenirs at the Heydar Aliyev Center during the exhibition.

The exhibition themed "Uzun Hasan, the ruler of the Aggoyunlu State" will run until January 2024.
