It comes after the Barbadian singer took time out to help find a
bone marrow donor for Jasmina Anema, who lost her battle with the
disease in January.
Rihanna’s charity was soon thrown back in her face, though.
A message posted on Twitter page OneForJasmina, which
has now been removed, reportedly read: ‘It has been a month since
Jasmina’s passing. Still not even a card or text message from Rihanna.
Did she use my child for a publicity stunt?’
The post was quickly replaced by a new message that
read: ‘Apparently, there are some negative blogs out there. For the
record, Rihanna has been nothing but really nice!’
Jasmina’s mother, Thea Anema, later said: ‘Although I
did not Tweet this particular one, I wish Rihanna had responded to me
on Jasmina’s passing. She was so kind to visit Jasmina – I just felt
hurt not hearing anything.’
