Instagram stops functioning due to storm in Virginia

Free application for sharing photos Instagram does not work due to the storm in the U.S. state of Virginia, Instagram said in a statement.

The statement says that experts are working hard to restore service.

Storm, struck the eastern states (the biggest blow accounted for Virginia and the District of Columbia) after the intense heat caused the accident on the power substation and left about 2 million people without electricity. There is still no official information about the victims.

Instagram - a popular application for smartphones that allows users to take photos, apply filters to them, and distribute them through its service and other social networks. Instagram makes pictures in a square shape - like Kodak Instamatic camera and Polaroid. Most photo supplement on iOS uses the aspect ratio of 3:2.
