As Arnold Schwarzenegger turns 64, a museum about his life opens in his native Austria.
The monument to the Hollywood star and former California governor was opened on Saturday in his birthplace village, Thal in Austria.
Located in the old Schwarzenegger family home, everything in the museum has been carefully reconstructed to look like it did in the 1960s – even his old bed.
"He was especially proud of his old bed made of steel tubes where he used to lay and dream his dreams," said the director of the Schwarzenegger Museum, Peter Urdl.
Alfred Kattner, who lives next door to the Schwarzenegger home, says the superstar has not forgotten his roots.
"He talks like us in the wider area around Graz. He appears natural.," said Kattner.
