"Signing of the decree about pardon by the president Ilham Aliyev 20 March, prevented inclusion of issue connected with Azerbaijan into agenda of the spring session of parliament Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE)".
The member of the parliament delegation of Azerbaijan to PACE and Monitoring organization Asim Mollazade informed agency Trend about this.
He said, in case of absence of such decree, at session, apparently, inclusion into extra-ordinary agenda of issue about accomplishment of obligation by Azerbaijan in front of Council of Europe was expected.
"Despite of the point, there were no issues, connected with Azerbaijan on agenda of the spring session of PACE, the president Ilham Aliyev committed such step and demonstrated humanism. This step was required for integration of Azerbaijan into Euro-Atlantic space. I presume, this step was necessary for Azerbaijan with aim to approach to European organizations and democratic states of the world. After such step, I think, one may rule out consideration of issues connected with Azerbaijan at extra-ordinary agenda", - A. Mollazade underlined.
The Member of Parliament, confirming agenda of spring session of PACE, to be held in the mid April and the work of several committees of organization, expressed his full confidence, there would not be any issues, connected with Azerbaijan.
