Azerbaijani and Moldova Presidents - Ilham Aliyev and Vladimir Voronin - signed a joint declaration in Kishinev on Thursday, Trend reports. The document was inked after the talks on the top under the Azerbaijani President's official visit to Moldova.
The document on cooperation in the sphere of air communications and information and information technologies, agreement on cooperation between the television and radio companies and agreement between the Ministries of Labor and Social Security of the two countries on cooperation on labor and social security of Azerbaijani citizens working in Moldova and Moldova's citizens in Azerbaijan were signed. In addition, the two sides inked a convention in the sphere of veterinary and sanitary. The two Presidents attended in the signing ceremony.
Nine documents were signed under Moldova President's Vladimir Voronin's official visit to Azerbaijan in October 2004. They were joint declaration of the two heads of state, an agreement on cooperation between the Ministries of Labor and Social Security, as well as between the Justice Ministries. They also signed agreement on economic and scientific-technical cooperation in agriculture, intergovernmental agreement on long-term economic cooperation, mutual visit of the citizens and on cooperation in the quarantine of plantings. In addition, the two sides signed an agreement on forensic assistance and forensic relationships in civil, family and criminal cases and a plan of consultations between the foreign Ministries in 2005-2006.
