The government will be submitted in early September the plan of the “New Neighborhood Policy”, developed by the European Union for Azerbaijan, deputy Foreign Minister Mahmud Mammadguliyev told Trend.
According to him, the delegation of the European Commission, elaborating the document, will pay a visit to Azerbaijan.
«The European Union action plan will reflect the issues of cooperation with Azerbaijan in economics, human rights, security and political issues. The Foreign Ministry and the government are expected to be involved in the discussions. Undoubtedly, the Azerbaijani side will put forward its own proposals at the discussions. Azerbaijan will seek to perfect the document. I guess, it is a favorable opportunity to solve the problems. In our discussions we will try to use the European Union’s assistance in solution of the most important problems to the maximum.”, Mammadguliyev noted.
