Azerbaijan will appeal to international organisations due to ecological problems in its territory under Armenian occupation

Mahmud Mammadguliyev, the Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister, told Trend about it.

The Ministry has started the analysis of the ecological situation in Azerbaijani district bordering with Armenia and collected a number of facts on the polluted water sources, spread of   rodents in the forests and fields. The measures on ecological protection were not implemented in the areas without control for many years, Mammadguliyev stressed.

The facts were also reaffirmed by the international monitoring held jointly with the Ministries of Economic Development and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, the diplomat underlined.
