The president of Azpetrol Company Rafik Aliyev was sentenced today for 2 months of imprisonment.

The president of Azpetrol Company Rafik Aliyev was sentenced today for 2 months of imprisonment.

This verdict was announced today on a court session. At this moment, president of Azpetrol is imprisoned at Bayil isolator. It is also worthy to mention that Rafik Aliyev is a brother of arrested and accused of planning a coup ex-minister of Economical Development Farhad Aliyev.


All bank accounts of Azpetrol Company are frozen.

Citizen of Turkish Republic businessman Burchan Bekchi who was arrested yesterday along with Aliyev while boarding a flight Baku – Istanbul was released after giving testimonies. In the testimony he declared that has known Aliyev as one of his business contacts and coincidently met him in the airport.
