70 candidates in 4 precincts in Ganja city will participate in elections on November 6

Former executive head of Ganja city Rasim Dashdemirov and a member of Milli Majlis Nizami Ahmadov withdrew their candidacies.

APAccording to the information given to the Ganja bureau of APA from Constituency Election Commission in Ganja, 22 candidates to the deputy withdrew their candidacies due to various reasons by the period designated for withdrawal of candidacy ended.
Five candidates from the first Nizami election constituency # 37, 3 candidates from the second Nizami election constituency # 38, 7 candidates from the first Kepez election constituency # 39, 7 candidates from the second Kepez election constituency # 40 voluntarily withdrew their candidacy.

Ten candidates withdrawing their candidacies are members of the Yeni Azerbaijan Party, 4 from Alliance of Azerbaijan Party, 1 of Azerbaijan Liberal Party and 7 are independents.
It should be noted that the former executive head Rasim Dashdemirov and deputy Nizami Ahmadov who withdrew their candidacy joined the election process from the second Kepez election constituency # 40. Elkhan Gadimov who headed the Ganja city Executive Power for a short time before this also withdrew his candidacy because of health problems.

70 candidates struggle for a deputy mandate at four constituencies in Ganja at present. 12 candidates in the first Nizami election constituency # 37, 21 in the second Nizami election constituency # 38, 22 in the first Kepez election constituency # 39, 15 in the second Kepez election constituency # 40 are continuing the elections campaign at present.
