1561 candidates to contest for 125 chairs of Milli Majlis

The Independent Press Center (IPC) informs that already 502 registered candidates left the election marathon due to different reasons.

According to the information, 475 of them withdrew their candidacies voluntarily, 23 candidacies were abolished by the Court of Appeal and two candidacies by the Central Election Commission leaving 1561 candidates to contest for 125 mandates.

465 of the candidates who left the election marathon are men and 46 are women.
