Azerbaijan stands for peace and stability in the region, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said at a joint press conference with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu in Baku, Trend reports.

According to Bayramov, the end of Karabakh conflict is a chance for Armenia.

The military-political leadership of Armenia must decide how to use this opportunity, the minister noted.

He stressed that the position of Azerbaijan and Turkey is based on the principles of international law.

Besides, according to him, coordination has been established between the two countries on the issue of normalizing relations with Armenia.

Bayramov also noted that the Shusha Declaration is not directed against third countries, but contributes to the development of Turkey and Azerbaijan.
