Gross and Herkel are going to present their report on Azerbaijan to PACE on December 15

A sitting of the Monitoring Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) will be held on December 15 in Paris.

According to the information given to APA from the Baku Information Office of the Council of Europe, the agenda of the sitting has already been specified. Agenda of the sitting includes: a report of the co-raporteurs of the Monitoring Committee on Georgia, adoption of the drafts of the resolution and report concerning implementation of the commitments undertaken by this country before the Council of Europe, report of the co-raporteurs on Armenia on the course of the referendum on the changes to the Constitution held in this country on December 27, and reports of the co-raporteurs on Azerbaijan on their visits to Azerbaijan on December 1-3.

Issues on Monaco, Slovenia, Latvia, Ukraine, Serbia, Montenegro will be discussed in the sitting as well. It should be reminded that Azerbaijan is represented by Samad Seidov, Asim Mollazade and Bakhtiyar Aliyev in the PACE Monitoring Committee. The first sitting of the PACE Monitoring Committee to be held next year will take place during the PACE session – on January 23-27.
