NIPA's chairman promises tho punish party's council members if they continue to contradict his decision

"Some members of the National Independence Party of Azerbaijan Political Council attempt to blackmail me with their statements. These people even can not determine category of accusations against me," said Ali Aliyev, the chairman of the party.

Aliyev stressed that accusations sounded against him are baseless. "These people insist that I violated regulations in regard to Arzukhan Alizade, the former Secretary General of the party, also a member of the Central Election Committee, in other words they wanted me to leave him on the both posts at the same time. Besides, I was against the fact that Alizade signed the final protocols on the November 6 parliamentary elections, since it contradicted the position of NIPA," he added.

At the end, Aliyev stressed that if party's council members continue to contradict him in this matter then a disciplinary comission will have to punish those causing troubles.
